Sleep: Getting up a couple times during the middle of the night. Sleep is restful though since I'm big enough and staying put on my left side. :)
Movement: She's an active one!
Cravings/Aversions: Craving desserts like cookies and cream ice-cream and custard water-ice...not good for my sugar level! Loving cold honey crisp apples...our favorite apple! Have you tried one? So juicy and crisp. Trying not to be a glutton even though I want to eat all the time.
What I miss: Nothing at all. Feeling really content.
Symptoms: My feet continue to swell during 3rd trimester, but it was much worse during 2nd. Since my low-line placenta issue corrected itself; my feet feel better, low back pain has decreased and I only feel round ligament pain in the morning. I prefer 3rd trimester over 2nd! Fatigue is setting in and taking a nap helps. Belly is getting bigger and waddling more.
What I look forward to: I'm looking forward to hearing baby girl's heartbeat at my OB appointment next Wednesday.
Milestones: According to babycenter.com, our baby weighs 3.75 pounds (pick up a large jicama) and is about 16.7 inches long, taking up a lot of space in your uterus. You're gaining about a pound a week and roughly half of that goes right to your baby. In fact, she'll gain a third to half of her birth weight during the next 7 weeks as she fattens up for survival outside the womb. She now has toenails, fingernails, and real hair (or at least respectable peach fuzz). Her skin is becoming soft and smooth as she plumps up in preparation for birth.
